Sean Liu is a transactional attorney whose practice focuses on commercial real estate, banking, corporate and estate planning matters. Mr. Liu regularly counsels clients in the acquisition, development and disposition of commercial real estate, as well as in retail, office and industrial leasing transactions. Mr. Liu also represents lenders in originating, structuring, servicing and modifying commercial loans. In addition, he advises clients on business and legal issues related to the formation of various business entities and the purchase and sale of businesses in a wide range of industries.
Mr. Liu graduated from the University of Texas School of Law, where he was a member of the Texas International Law Journal. Prior to his association with Barlow Garsek & Simon, LLP, Mr. Liu was in the business transactions section of Andrews Kurth LLP.
Mr. Liu is a member of the Texas State Bar Association, the Dallas Bar Association, the Tarrant County Bar Association, the Irving Chamber of Commerce, the Irving Economic Development Advisory Council, Dallas Asian American Bar Association and the Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce.
